When she grew out of her “nauseatingly cute” and “terribly precocious” child phase, she was no longer booking the leading roles and stepped away from her child stardom. She then focused on comedy and improv while finishing school. She then went to New York University and spent four years trying to avoid awkward eye contact (as she puts it) with the other, much more famous former child stars attending the school. Power of the Dark Crystal No Longer in Development -

*sad face* I was hoping this would actually happen. But at the same time, as someone who’s not a big fan of sequels/prequels/whatevers I’m glad that The Dark Crystal will stand on its own, and not have a possible fail attached to it. So I guess I have mixed feelings about the whole thing.
